The FAQ
Do you Travel?
As of current travel for weddings free of charge must remain within a 50-mile radius of Blue Springs, Missouri. Small travel is available upon request.
How long have you been doing this?
I have been following people around with my camera since 2014, but 2017 is when I made the leap of faith to try to make my hobby a business.
How many photos do we get?
I don't stress quantity on an album, but rather draw attention the quality of the digital album you will receive. But... if you're just really a numbers person: most portrait sessions have a minimum of 30 images delivered and weddings a minimum of 250.
How do we get our photos?
You will receive your images via an online downloadable high-resolution gallery. USB delivery is available upon request.
Do you retouch photos?
I retouch photographs with a creative eye when necessary, however, I strive to capture the day as naturally and true to you as possible.
Whats your turn around time?
My turn around time for a portrait session (family, couples, engagements, seniors) is usually under a week- but I promise less than two weeks while my turn around time for weddings is less than 3 weeks.
How do we book you?
YAY- this is exciting if this is the question you are looking for the answer to. You can book online via the contact form.
Can you help us with planning?
DUH. I love planning and will be as involved in your wedding day as you'll let me be!
How far out do you book?
I usually recommend booking a portrait session at least 4-8 weeks out and a wedding 8 months to a year in advance.
What should we do for an engagement session?
The possibilities here are endless and I'd love to help you brainstorm. I usually suggest something that is true to your love story; at your house? sweet! downtown? that's cool to. It's all about you.
What should we wear?
I typically suggest one formal outfit and one casual outfit at an engagement session. Upon booking, I provide several inspiration boards for color schemes and outfit suggestions for those who are looking for some guidance.
I believe that the best photographs are captured in the moment. I have made this my true mission over the past year to move to a candid style of photography. My goal is for you to forget I am even there. I strive to document the raw moments that are often overlooked in your everyday life.
